Final of the Polestar Time Trials Competition in Vienna

At the end of January, the Polestar Space Viennapowered by Auto Stahlthe grand finale of the Polestar Time Trials Competition took place - an extraordinary interplay of motorsport, gaming and electromobility.

The Polestar 5, which has been part of Gran Turismo 7 since December, took centre stage. The globally successful racing game, which has sold over 100 million units, brought the virtual racing world to Vienna in this form for the first time: visitors were able to drive the Polestar 5 in professional racing simulators, achieve best times and qualify for the final.

A special highlight was the personal visit by Gran Turismo founder Kazunori Yamauchi, who travelled all the way from Japan. Moderated by gaming expert Phillip Ogunfojuri, Daniel Eder came out on top in the end with a best time of 01:36:223 came out on top.

A special Gran Turismo version of the Polestar 5 was also presented for the first time, which was then put to actual racing use at the FAT Ice Race in Zell am See.

The Polestar 5 stands for all-electric performance with up to 650 kW (884 PS), 1,015 Nm of torque and 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds - combined with long-distance comfort and Scandinavian engineering expertise.
