900 KILOMETRES TOWARDS A COMMON GOAL: RACC AUSTRIA 900 COMES TO A CLOSE IN VIENNA.

Eight days, 900 kilometres across Austria and a goal that goes far beyond the sporting challenge: with RACC Austria 900 – Ride Against Childhood Cancer Austria – Daniel raised funds for St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research. On 10 September, the charity tour came to a close here at Polestar Space Vienna.

900 kilometres by bike through Austria – from the very start, RACC Austria 900 was about more than just a sporting challenge. With every stage, Daniel aimed to raise awareness of the work carried out by St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research and to encourage as many people as possible to support the research with a donation.

The fact that not everything always goes to plan over a distance of 900 kilometres became apparent as early as the third stage. A fall led to an unexpected stop and made the rest of the journey an even greater challenge. Yet the tour continued – kilometre by kilometre and stage by stage – right up to the grand finale in Vienna.

MORE THAN 50,000 EUROS FOR ST. ANNA CHILDREN’S CANCER RESEARCH

In the end, it wasn’t just about the sporting achievement, but above all an impressive collective result: as part of RACC Austria 900, more than 50,000 euros were raised for St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research. In addition, the auction of Daniel’s gravel bike raised just under 20,000 euros.

Thus, what began as the idea for an extraordinary cycle tour became an initiative that extends far beyond the kilometres cycled. Numerous people, partners and supporters accompanied Daniel on his journey and helped to raise awareness and funds for children’s cancer research.

THROUGH AUSTRIA IN THE POLESTAR 4

Auto Stahl was also delighted to support RACC Austria 900 alongside Polestar Austria. Throughout the eight days, a Polestar 4 served as a support vehicle on the tour, travelling alongside Daniel as he made his way through Austria. Furthermore, we supported the initiative with a donation to St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research.

After 900 kilometres, the final stage finally led to Vienna. On 10 September 2026, RACC Austria 900 came to a close here at our Polestar Space Vienna. Together, we looked back once more on eight intense days, the individual stages and the challenges along the way – but above all on what we were able to achieve together through the tour.

Although RACC Austria 900 came to an end with the finish in Vienna, support for St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research continues. Even now that the tour has finished, there is still the opportunity to support this vital research with a donation.
